‘You don’t want me to stop, you little shit. You want it,’ he snapped. ‘Yes, yesss, ohhhh, yesss,’ he panted. I silently screamed.

Failing at school, trapped in a loveless home, Graham is struggling with life. At fourteen he makes the decision to leave school and home.

What follows is a series of misadventures as he escapes—an abusive father, a violent co-worker, a botched robbery, a near-fatal car accident and a sexual predator.

Finding himself alone in a strange city he has to find a way to survive, but how?

A chance encounter brings him into a world he has not known, one filled with warmth and friendship, but before long he again faces violence and prejudice. As he finds love, the person he fears most, reappears.

Graham Robinson was born in the United Kingdom. He now lives in Australia, is divorced and has three children. He has more than twenty years’ experience as a radio broadcaster and journalist. He currently works for the Australian Public Service.
