Six hundred and sixty-six years later, the End Times begin proper when Preston Stevenson, sole survivor of a brutal car wreck, begins to obey the voice inside her head.

This voice has shadowed Preston since the accident, protecting her from strife and unseen dangers. Now, it’s ordering her to behave bizarrely: insisting she crash the concert of a band she detests, accost the drummer, and inform him that she is a turtle.

Marked for immortality when she dies, Preston has become an unwitting pawn in a covert tug-of-war, unaware that two spirits – one good, one evil – are fighting for control of her soon to be indestructible body. With Armageddon looming, the good spirit, Preston’s guardian since birth, must ensure that it is the one who wins possession.

But the good spirit needs third dimensional help. Specifically, that of misfit musician Zak van Zanten. Zak and his bandmates are immortal, albeit completely oblivious as to how they earned their everlasting lives. The condition is sweeping the planet at random, giving rise to a secret society of clueless ‘Bulletproof’ beings.

Only Zak can protect Preston from the evil spirit’s deadly clutches. Pity he doesn’t know it yet. Preston’s stage crashing antics, while drawing her ever closer to her own eternal fate, will cause strange awakenings for the immortals in her path, and slowly, the jaw-dropping cause of this Bulletproof epidemic will be revealed…
