Variation of the constants? How come constants could be varied? The behaviour of an integral equation highly depended on a little parameter, why so? The questions may have reflected the curiosity afforded by those that asked them, but doesn’t the curiosity point at an exciting subject? Equally exciting is the Fredholm Alternative Theorem where a little knowledge of determinants and homogeneous equations would help one grasp the core of it. This repetitorium is by no means an example for pedagogy. Still it is following through the same sequence, starting from something basic and essential like systems of algebraic equations to end up with something less so basic, like the Gauβ Theorem and integral equations. In between, partial differential equations make up the largest section. The last section collects one or two few topics that could not be placed under the headings of calculus or equations.
