Patricia Easteal

Patricia Easteal is an author, advocate, academic and activist. She is Emeritus Professor in Law at the University of Canberra and the founder of Legal Light Bulbs, a consultancy business specializing in women and the law. Patricia has contributed significantly, through her research, teaching and community service, to awareness and understanding of violence against women, discrimination, harassment and barriers to justice. Her achievements in these areas have been recognised by appointment as a Member of the Order of Australia and as Australian of the Year for the Australian Capital Territory. When not researching and writing, Patricia enjoys running, meditation, yoga, creative cookery, reading, gardening and connecting with family and friends. Dancing With Demons is her first novel.
