Theo Pearce went missing over twenty years go. The Aboriginal teenager vanished off a country road in the heartland of Australia’s Western District. Ewan Boyd returns to his hometown for a school reunion. There he reconnects with a boyhood friend, Freddie Stokie, Theo’s uncle. Ewan is Freddie’s last hope and he threatens to unearth a shared secret if Ewan doesn’t comply with his demand to find out what happened to Theo.
